Hey Friends!

Welcome to With Love and Legos! I’m so glad you’re here!

This space is born out of the beautiful, messy, joyful chaos of family life—rooted in Jesus. Our days are sticky and messy but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

This blog is where I’ll be sharing stories from our everyday adventures and embracing the imperfections of life (like stepping on a LEGO). You’ll find reflections on parenting through the lens of faith, fun organization hacks for everyday life, honest thoughts about the hard days, and the small victories that make it all worth while.

Why With Love and Legos? Well the honest answer is chatGPT came up with it and I thought it was cute. But also that’s what our lives look like right now. With 2 little boys (ages 3 and 2 months), our hearts are full of love and there is probably legos on the floor. Legos are our reminder that God, with his immense grace, takes the pieces of us and creates something beautiful.

Each post will include a prayer or scripture that’s resonated with us that week—because we are nothing without Christ. My hope is that you’ll find encouragement to lean into your faith, know you are not alone in the messiness of parenting, and find a few fun, helpful things to make the day to day mundane run a little smoother.

Wether you’re a fellow parent, a caregiver, my mom, or someone who just enjoys the real, raw beauty of family life, I hope you find a little joy, encouragement, and community here.

With love and legos,

Cara

“But he said to me ‘my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me” 2 Corinthians 12:9

About Me

Hi, I’m Cara – an L&D nurse, boy mom of 2, and heart-first chaos coordinator behind With Love and Legos.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where the snack stash is always low, the toy bins are overflowing, and God’s grace is the only reason anything gets done. I’m a mom, and a woman doing her best to raise a family with intention, humor and a whole lot of prayer.
